Manhattan’s Upper West Side, known for its luxury high rises, stylish boutiques, and upscale restaurants, will soon be home to one of the area’s tallest buildings at 200 Amsterdam Avenue in New York City.  When completed, the 51-story lavish, residential skyscraper will feature 112 apartments, each averaging 3,000 square feet, a heated saltwater pool, a gym, a golf simulator, and hundreds of American Aldes ZRTs and CARs for improved ventilation system performance.  Proud of its integral contribution to the building’s requirements for improved energy efficiency and healthy ventilation needs, Aldes Zone Register Terminals (ZRT’s) will provide on-demand boost airflow in bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms to exhaust humidity and odors. Aldes Constant Airflow Regulators (CARs) will also be installed in the makeup air duct systems of the building to automatically regulate airflow in each condo unit to constant rates. These ZRTs and CARs are frequently the preferred ventilation products for multi-family buildings such as apartments and condos across the U.S. for their ease of installation and highly efficient performance.
