Overview
The mechanical humidistat controls excess humidity.
When the humidity rate is greater than the value indicated on the adjustment knob, you can activate the high speed switch and, if needed, the interior exterior exchange switch. When you have reached the appropriate humidity rate, the humidistat returns to its pre-selected ventilation mode.
You can also check the ambient humidity rate by simply turning the dial from a high humidity level to a lower one and observing the level shown when you hear a click-stop.
You may also wish to operate your device at high speed. To do this, adjust the knob to the lowest rate of humidity (20%). We recommend using this setting when you have many visitors or during prolonged cooking.
