Motorized Damper
These motorized dampers are available in both normally closed (standard) and normally open models, designed for operation with either 24 VAC or 120 VAC. All models come equipped with an end switch rated for a 10-amp load. This end switch allows for sequencing the operation of a remote fan once the damper has opened, making it possible to use remote fans for selective ventilation in areas such as laundry rooms, kitchens, or individual bathrooms.
A variety of controls can be used with these dampers in zoned ventilation systems, including manual spring-wound time delays, electronic time delays, cycle timers, programmable timers, and occupancy- or humidity-sensing switches. Additionally, motorized dampers can be utilized to manage the sequencing of outside fresh or make-up air in forced-air systems.
Each damper motor carries the C-UL-US Component Recognition Mark, ensuring compliance with recognized safety and performance standards.
