The St-Léonard d'Aston plant is currently looking for a Financial Controller .

The Financial Controller works under the supervision of the Director of Finance. He is responsible for:

Main tasks:

  • Participate in accounting compliance activities;
  • Prepare monthly financial statements;
  • Analyze and explain the variances with the budget;
  • Develop and update a value added report;
  • Support the company's consolidation, budgeting and forecasting processes;
  • Ensure the management and control of stocks;
  • Analyze the cost price and implement improvement solutions;
  • To be the point of contact for external relations, particularly in matters of audit, taxation and insurance;
  • Ensure cash management;
  • Ensure the relationship with the management team and serve as a strategic business partner to support business objectives;
  • Other related tasks.

Profile sought:

  • Hold a BAC in accounting, finance or field of study relevant to the job;
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience;
  • Master the Office suite including advanced skills in Excel;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset);
  • Master's degree or accounting designation (asset).

  • Strong analytical sense and attention to detail;
  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships;
  • Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner;
  • A spirit of initiative which favors action and problem solving;
  • Sense of listening;
  • Bilingualism both orally and in writing.

Working conditions:

  • Full-time position (40 hours);
  • Possibility of travel to the United States on a semi-annual basis;
