Main responsibilities
Within the R & amp; D department, you collaborate with a passionate team to explore the technologies of tomorrow, design new products, test and validate their performance, plan manufacturing resources and support the transition to production.Under the supervision of the senior project manager, you will lead development projects and activities, promote the improvement of ALDES products and research projects, with following missions:

  • Collaborate with the technical team of the R & amp; D department to build the product validation plan and prototypes, monitor tests and participate in the analysis of results;
  • Collaborate with the industrialization team of the R & amp; D department to introduce products into production by participating in the pre-series and ensure the closure of project actions;
  • Stimulate the project team in research "brainstorming" and carry out feasibility studies;
  • Coordinate the project team for the completion of tasks, planning monitoring and achievement of objectives, based on the project management process;
  • Pilot the design with the designers to arrive at an efficient, reliable and feasible technical solution;
  • Conduct meetings with the various stakeholders and ensure follow-ups;
  • Make technical presentations to management;
  • Carry out the sizing of the components, write the specification documents and participate in the cost price calculation;
  • Lead action plans as part of the "product life" process to ensure the sustainability and evolution of the product after its release;
  • Participate in technology watch, competition analysis, research on new technologies;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Skills

    • Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any relevant training
    • Have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
    • Ability to coordinate a team
    • Good interpersonal communication skills
    • Good aptitude for planning, organizing and managing files
    • Good knowledge of project mode operation
    • Functional English (speaking and writing)
    • Understanding of product design in a mid-series industry (asset)
    • Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS software (asset)
